Personnel

Overview

Training for the In-Situ Lining scheme is provided by WRc-NSF. Full details of the scope of content for Part I and Part II can be found here.

Part I training relates to the theory and processes behind carrying out the work, with training and assessment being completed in a classroom environment lasting approximately one day.

Part II training and certification covers practical operations of specific combinations of Rigs, Lining Materials and Monitoring Systems. It is assessed through a one-on-one interview.

Registration on Part I is valid for a period of three years. Registration on Part II is valid until the expiry of the Part I registration.

Due to the complexity of the information recorded for each individual, full data for Part II is only available via the online Register Search.

Each Part II registration holds details of:

  • Job Role, for the purposes of In-Situ Lining
  • Certifications for Rig, Lining Material and Monitoring System combinations

All individuals carrying out in-situ lining work must hold a valid National Water Hygiene registration.
