Stakeholders

At EUSR, as well as working very closely with employers from across our sector, we also work with many energy and utility industry stakeholders.

We enjoy our open and effective communications with our stakeholders and value their views and opinions. Our collaboration informs our strategic objectives as well as our operational day-to-day plans. Our partnerships with employers, stakeholders and regulators aim to support the recruitment, training and upskilling of the energy and utilities sector workforce.

Most of our training schemes and programmes are based on standards we have developed in collaboration with employers, whilst some are based on other recognised industry or national occupational standards or qualifications. In all cases we use our expertise in the design and development of training and assessment to make sure they are valid and relevant.

EUSR Stakeholders we work closely with include:

EUSR is very proud to be a partner of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for our SHEA and NCO schemes. All SHEA and NCO EUSR ID Cards carry the CSCS logo – giving certified individuals access to operational sites.

We are a recognised 3rd party awarding body for CITB and the UK construction industry and offer many sector-based schemes and standards that are approved for CITB short course duration funding.

Our NCO (Water) and SCMC schemes are accepted by Lloyds Register as evidence of competence for contractors for their Water Industry Registration Scheme (WIRS).

Our years of experience working with employers and training providers in the gas industry (including our industry network groups) means we’re uniquely placed to offer support, advice and guidance as a ‘Recogniser of Training’ for IGEM/IG/1.
