Covid-19 – Latest External Statement – Move to Virtual Working

In response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and in support of ongoing public health guidance, Energy & Utility Skills has moved to the home working stage of its Business Continuity Plan.

The Energy & Utility Skills office in Solihull will close to all staff and visitors from 5pm today (Wednesday 18 March) and all employees will move to virtual home working ready for the start of business at the usual time tomorrow morning. All of our vital services to the UK utility sector continue as before, including the important schemes and registrations through EUSR.

We continue to monitor and review this fast-moving situation and we will provide you with updates, including when office re-opening might be possible. As part of this stage of our plan, all business travel by employees is also prohibited, and so planned meetings and events will continue just as before, but using virtual methods. We apologise for any inconvenience but know most of our partner companies are in a similar situation.
