Basic Electrical Safety Competence
Basic Electrical Safety Competence assessment for entry and exit from electricity transmission and distribution work sites in a safe and controlled manner. Three endorsements are available covering: Substations, Overhead Lines, Underground Cables.
Confined Spaces (Water)
Skills registration for roles and activities for those requiring entry into confined spaces within the water industry aligned with national classifications (NC). Categories exist for low, medium and high risk area entry as well as overseeing work and emergency rescue and recovery of casualties.
Cross Country Pipelines Health and Safety Passport
Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment awareness passport. Covers basic awareness of health & safety and environmental law in addition to good practice on sites and hazards and risks specific to the pipeline construction industry.

Gas Distribution
In-house GD training for assistants, mains layers and service layers for operatives within the gas industry.

Gas Network Operations
Skills registration for the Gas Network Operations NVQ.

Gas Network Safety Passport
Health & Safety awareness for operatives working on the gas network.

Leakage Detection & Control (Water)
Skills registration for leakage detection and leakage control technicians within the water industry
Multi Layered Pipe
Also referred to as "Profuse" or "Peelable" pipe, an additional endorsement to Network Construction Operations (Gas) showing which pipe sizes can be worked with by the operative.
National Grid Electricity Contractors
Registration of the National Grid "Person" and "Competent Person" training schemes. Energy & Utility Skills do not provide training or assessment for this registration.
National Water Hygiene
Industry wide hygiene awareness required for entry to sites with restricted operations. Deals with health, hygiene and potential contamination issues for working on potable water sites whether fixed (eg. water treatment works) or transient works on the water network. Often referred to as the "blue card".
