This product is operated by ControlPoint.

The ControlPoint Butt Fusion course has been developed to meet the increasing demand for quality control with the Gas and Water Utility Sectors.

Aim and Objectives

The aim of the course is to provide individuals welding on polyethylene pipelines with a detailed knowledge of required welding techniques using specific procedures, equipment and ancilliary tooling.

The course provides individuals with a clear understanding why these are required and the consequences of circumventing approved best practice.

The course also provides specific training on the BlueBox data capture system used for remote asset verification.

Successful completion of the course will qualify the operator for the ControlPoint Guarantee.

This course is for 1 day.

Assessment

Individuals will be assessed by:

• Multiple Choice Theory Test
• Practical

Registration

Registration on EUSR is valid for 3 years from date of training.
