PLUS: Extension of EUSR Registrations

UPDATE – Thursday 25 June 

We are extending ALL Smart and PLUS registrations to 30 September.

This means that all registrations that were originally due to expire between 27 March and 30 June, and all those that are due to expire before 30 September (whether or not they have already had 3 months added onto them) will expire on 30 September.

We have done this to support our employers as they get to grips with the back-log of renewal training and the fact that their cohorts will be smaller due to social distancing.

Following discussions with approved providers and employers across our sector, Energy & Utility Skills is extending all EUSR PLUS registrations by three months.

This automatic extension will be applied to all individuals with an EUSR PLUS registration expiring between 6 April 2020 and 30 June 2020.

This action has been taken because we recognise that it is difficult for employers and individuals to access training in the current situation – some individuals will have an EUSR PLUS registration expiring which they won’t be able to renew.

This extension of the EUSR PLUS registration will give employers, and of course the individuals themselves, time to get their renewal training and/or assessment arranged and completed.

Once the renewal training and/or assessment has taken place, the start date of the renewal registration will be from the original expiry date.

With EUSR ID cards being delivered to offices and so many already closed or due to close, there will be delays in cards getting to individuals. We are therefore encouraging all companies and individuals to use EUSR, our online register (www.eusr.co.uk) to check PLUS registrations for the period of the pandemic.

The current situation is changing on a daily basis and we will continue to review our approach.
