National Water Hygiene Scheme Update
26 Feb 2009
The National Water Hygiene scheme is being updated. Trainers are required to attend an update briefing to access new materials and continue as a trainer. Applications from courses on or before 30th April must be submitted by 31st May 2009.
The National Water Hygiene scheme is now three years old. Since its inception more than 58,000 individuals have been registered on the scheme. Energy & Utility Skills have been working closely with the water industry to ensure that the scheme meets the needs of employers, trainers and cardholders. As part of the process of continuous improvement the latest version will shortly be released, featuring revised and updated content.
EUSR Water Hygiene trainers will be required to attend an update briefing in order to retain their trainer status. At this meeting all new training materials and documentation will be issued.
It is essential that EUSR Water Hygiene trainers attend one of these sessions. A letter has been sent out to the address that we hold on record on Tuesday 24th February with a booking form. If you are a trainer and have not received this information please urgently contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office on 0845 077 9922.
In order to ensure a smooth transition between course materials the following deadlines have been put in place.
Trainers who have attended an update briefing start delivering the new course material.
Last date that the current National Water Hygiene material may be delivered.
(Edition 3/ 2007 issued on CD)
All applications for National Water Hygiene courses delivered on or before 30th April must be received by Energy & Utility Skills. Any applications received after this date will be returned.
